Cross is out behind a barracks in the early evening. Liter is there with him looking concerned and a little upset. He's telling Cross to get himself together, that they're there for a reason and that he's not acting like himself. Cross shakes his head and tries to deny that anything's wrong and Liter snaps at him. "No. We're warriors, not soldiers." And it's like a light turns on for Cross. He nods and stands up a little straighter, almost like a different person. He thanks Liter and they embrace briefly before leaving again.
What he learned:
He's a warrior?
Liter is there for him.
He's two different people?

Appreciation for Liter
Confusion
Worries about what he is
Confusion
And maybe a little confidence because he IS a warrior and eventually he'll figure out what that means.
